Eagan’s July 4th Funfest 2019 Parade Grand Marshals Announced

Eagan, MN, – Eagan’s July 4th Funfest Committee is proud and excited to announce the 2019 July 4th Funfest Parade Grand Marshals, Tabitha Peterson and Natalie Darwitz!

Tabitha Peterson graduated from Eagan High School in 2007 and attended the University of Minnesota earning her bachelor’s degree in 2011 and PharmD in 2015. She also competed at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea in the sport of curling. Tabitha currently works for CVS/Pharmacy in Target and continues to train for the 2022 Olympic Games.

Natalie Darwitz is arguably the most well-known name in Minnesota women’s hockey history. She is also a multi-decorated player on the international scene and just finished a very successful fourth season as the head coach of the Hamline University women’s hockey program. The Eagan, Minnesota native has been part of the Minnesota hockey scene for nearly two decades. She first burst into the public eye as a seventh grader skating for Eagan High School. The Wildcats advanced to the state championship game that year. By the time she was done with her prep career, she had amassed a remarkable 487 points in 102 career games.
